Perfect for exploring the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast, Red House Farm offers delightful Grade II listed B&B accommodation just 400m from the village centre of Glaisdale. We're only 8 miles from Whitby, and within easy reach of the Moors Centre at Danby, the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway and Heartbeat village Goathland. A choice of outdoor activities from walking and horse riding to cycling feature in the local area and Wainwright's famous Coast to Coast Path runs within a quarter of a mile of the farm.
Dating from the mid 1600s, our listed moorland farmhouse is brimming with character and charm. Combining all modern facilities with wonderful period features, rooms include two double en-suites with bathrooms including a bath and shower over, one spacious family/ or twin room with a double bed, single bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath/ shower over. We also have a cosy single room with its own wc and wash basin, plus a shared bathroom - available only when the B&B is booked for a family group/ friends. In-room facilities include free WiFi, flatscreen colour televisions, individually adjustable central heating and tea making facilities.

A games room for adults and strictly supervised under 16s only is available for guest use, featuring a full sized snooker table, darts, dominoes, a wood stove and a selection of local guides. Our one and a half acres of gardens and grounds feature a pretty pond with adjacent seating areas and barbecue. We're no longer a working farm, however we breed Longhorn cows and keep a number of hens and ducks. Secure on-site bike storage is on-site. A choice of wonderful walks surround us and a bridleway runs directly through the farm.
