The Pathway Guest House sits on the West Cliff side of Whitby, on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. The harbour town of Whitby has many famous historical connections including Captain Cook and Dracula. The town has remained unspoilt by time and the narrow streets and alleyways are overlooked by the abbey, which dominates the skyline. Our position on the West Cliff is ideally situated to the town, beach and leisure centre.You will have a most wonderful time exploring this picturesque gem.
Guests can climb aboard a replica of the 'Endeavour', which was Captain James Cook's ship. You will then sail around Whitby harbour and down the coast, taking in the majestic scenery of the colourful cliff sides and coastal waters. For those who want to trace the origins of 'Dracula', this is the place to be. Bram Stoker began to pen is literary masterpiece whilst gazing out towards the East Cliff from the Abbey Graveyard, and created one of the most iconic figures in literature!

The Pathway Guest House retains many original Victorian features, yet has been recently decorated throughout. All rooms are double en-suite, the main feature room boasts a Four Poster bed and marble fireplace, The top room is ideal for a couple and one child, with a small integral single room and large en-suite. All en-suites are fitted with powerful showers, toiletries provided. All rooms have hospitality trays, mini fridge, colour TV, and hair-drier.

The Pathway has an original ornate black and white tiled path, hence our name, and a beautiful stained glass entrance door. We are fully non smoking throughout for the comfort and safety of all guests. On street parking when available. Secure parking for up to 2 motorcycles. Guests have access to the guest house and rooms at all times, giving you the freedom to come and go as you please. The establishment is non-smoking. The guest house has a fire certificate.
