Robin Hood's Bay is a beautiful picturesque village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. The magnificent views out to sea and across the open countryside towards Ravenscar can be viewed at leisure from the sun terrace of Devon House. The lower part of Robin Hoods Bay village lies at the bottom of a steep hill, and is a maze of tiny streets and passageways. Robin Hoods Bay lies 15 miles from Scarborough and 5 miles from Whitby and local buses can be caught from the bus stops that are only 2 minutes from the front door of Devon House.
Devon House offers a range of double, single and twin en-suite accommodation. All rooms have a hot and cold drinks tray; satellite TV; full central heating; hair dryer and toiletries. Rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are plentiful. A discount is available for bookings of 3 nights or more. Devon House is a strictly non-smoking establishment. We are not able to take pets and children over the age of 12 years old welcome.
At Devon House we welcome walkers and cyclists and have facilities to dry damp clothing and secure overnight storage for bicycles. For those who wish to go off the beaten track, packed lunches can be purchased and packed breakfasts are available for those who like an early start to the day. Devon House has a terraced garden that overlooks the Bay and the cliffs at Ravenscar and is an ideal spot to relax (weather permitting of course!).
