Ideally situated for York and the North York Moors National Park, Thirklewood House is a warm and welcoming country house bed and breakfast in pretty village Oswaldkirk in Ryedale. Enjoy hearty full cooked Yorkshire breakfasts and relax in our attractive Conservatory with garden views. Families with children are welcome and ample parking is available on-site. We're just a stone's throw from market town Helmsley and just a short drive from magnificent stately home estate Castle Howard. Leave the car behind and pick up the regular Moors Bus service departing near the B&B.

Our four guest rooms share two bathrooms and include a twin room, two double rooms and a spacious family room. Single occupancy is welcome. Each room has garden views and its own unique style. Facilities include a well stocked hospitality tray with biscuits, tea and coffee making facilities, a television, DVD player and a hair dryer. Children and babies are welcome - please bring your own bedding. Although non-smoking throughout inside, you'll find smoking areas outside in the garden area.
