Directions

From the A64 take the A169 to Pickering. In Pickering turn Left at the roundabout onto the A170 signposted for Helmsley. Follow this to Kirkbymoorside (about seven miles) and at the roundabout in Kirkbymoorside turn Right onto the main street and up the hill to a mini roundabout. Turn Left again and follow the road into Gillamoor – about 2.5 miles. At the village green in Gillamoor turn right and Hen House Cottage is on the right just before the church with a sign outside. Pull into the drive in front of the cottage. We are at Church View next door (with black iron railings).
