This family run B&B is located on the edge of the village of West Witton, mid way between Leyburn and Aysgarth Falls, right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The Grade II listed Old Vicarage dates back over 300 years and effortlessly combines traditional features with modern amenities. Enjoying panoramic views across the Wensleydale Valley, it is the ideal retreat from which to relax and unwind.
West Witton is perfect for walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts with mile upon mile of open countryside waiting to be explored. There are a number of impressive waterfalls including Aysgarth Falls, Hardraw Force and slightly further afield, Ingleton Falls and High Force. For history buffs, be sure to visit Skipton Castle and Ripely Castle which are just a short drive away. The children will love The Forbidden Corner, a labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and follies.
We have 5 ensuite bedrooms available. These include a large superior room with king size bed (can also accommodate 2 children), a standard twin, a standard double, a king size 4 poster room and a superior double.
The Old Vicarage is the ideal base for touring in your classic car. We can offer advise on local routes and places of interest. We offer a choice of tailor made packages for you including personalised tour routes, restaurant bookings, welcome tea/coffee on arrival and a complimentary car cleaning facility. We can accommodate for groups of up to 10.
