This cosy self catering holiday cottage is situated on the northern hill facing south across the valley in the tranquil picturesque village of Starbotton in the heart of the Wharfdale in the Yorkshire Dales. Dating back to the 18th century, this character stone cottage retains many original features including wooden beams and an open fire.
Starbotton is the ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales. This tiny village is situated by the River Wharfe in beautiful countryside 15 miles north of Skipton. The area is renowned for its spectacular walks, from the long distance Dales Way to short local strolls. Footpaths lead from Starbotton in five directions, up to the top of Buckden Pike, down the river to Kettlewell, up the river to Buckden, over the top to Arncliffe and over to Coverdale.
The bright lounge has ample seating, digital free view television and an open fire, ideal on a chilly evening. It has a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons you'll need to enjoy a self catering break. There is also a dining area to seat 6. The property has 2 double bedrooms, both enjoying stunning views over the surrounding countryside, and a downstairs wet room/bathroom.
