Circa 18th century, this beautiful accommodation sits on the edge of the historic market town of Richmond. Views across town to the Norman castle and just a few minutes walk from the market place. A wildflower meadow behind the cottage is grazed by sheep and lambs in the spring. Garden Cottage has an enviable position in both town and country!

Garden Cottage Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, a master double with en-suite bathroom, a second double and a twin room, all of which have new beds and mattresses. The beds have snuggly duvets and Egyptian cotton bedlinen, which is included in the rental price, as are fluffy white towels and bathmats. The first floor bathroom is adjacent to the bedrooms and has bath and separate shower. There is a third loo and washbasin downstairs. Kitchen and lounge face south over the garden. Kitchen appliances include electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. (There is a freezer in the external store which is shared by the owner). The lounge/dining room has French windows to the private garden and is equipped with a flat screen, digital television and DVD player, sofas, games, jigsaws, books, piano and dining table. The Garden Corridor has room for boots and coats, pushchairs and paraphenalia! Off street parking for two cars. Shorter breaks are normally available on request within a calendar week, which runs from Friday - Thursday. Please contact directly for further details.

A covered stone flagged passage leads into the cottage and out to the private lawned garden, where flowers, roses, herbs, rhubarb and apple trees grow. Just the place to chat over supper after a day's sightseeing, relax with a drink and a book under the weeping willow or take a leisurely lunch al fresco . The town and country location of Garden Cottage is truly special and the garden and views are lovely. Piano is an additional source of entertainment, or maybe offers the chance for a little long-delayed practise or carols at Christmas! Off-street parking.
