Sympathetically restored from a former artist's studio, the cottage enjoys stunning, uninterrupted views across Wensleydale and beyond. Set in the stunning farming hamlet of Ellingstring and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is the ideal base from which to explore the area. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, Ellinstring is a haven away from the modern world.
There is plenty to see and do in the North Yorkshire Dales, from walking and rambling, cycling and horse riding to outdoor sports, historical sites and beautiful villages. The Studio has easy access to all of the Yorkshire Dales despite its remote location. The nearby market town of Masham has pubs, restaurants and a small supermarket and we can supply you with our own fresh vegetables and eggs when available.
The Studio consists of a single open plan lounge/newly fitted kitchen/bedroom (double bed), plus shower room with toilet. A single pullout bed is also provided and the layout is suitable for the partly disabled. It is ideal for a couple with a young child. Facilities include all fuel, fridge, TV, gas fire, electric heater, duvets, all linen and a tea tray to warmly welcome you on arrival. The small patio garden has furniture and a barbecue; there is also private parking for one car. Up to two pets can be accommodated free of charge.
