Built in 2009/10, with private parking, they are situated in the wonderful, picturesque town of Whitby, and sleep 4-6 guests. They are located together, and run along side the steam railway line which is wonderful for viewing these old-fashioned trains. The properties also have exceptional views of the Abbey and harbour, whilst only being a 5 minute level walk away from the historic centre. Here you will find a lovely selection of quaint shops and inviting cafes and pubs whilst exploring the narrow cobbled streets. It is said, that Whitby was the birth place of 'Dracula'. Bram Stoker began to pen his world famous novel whilst watching a ship come into port, and he was also inspired by the abbey and church yard. You can trace the footsteps of Dracula by means of one of the nightly tours, dare you seek out the count! Whitby is also known for its world famous fish and chips, and is home to The Magpie Cafe. The building overlooks the harbour, and the selection of food is made from the freshest produce. You're sure to have a most wonderful time in this beautiful location of Yorkshire.
The cottages have been identically furnished and have stunning interiors. The bedrooms consist of one double and one twin. There is a large bathroom with a shower, and a cloakroom with a toilet and hand basin. The living room is well equipped with comfortable soft furnishings, flat-screen LCD TV with free-view, CD player, radio, ipod docking station and a selection of books, games and CDs. The fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer.
