The best way to find us from any direction is to get to the Punch Bowl Inn in Low Row. Travel west towards Gunnerside/Kirby Stephen from there one third of a mile to a barn with green doors just before the turn to Hazel Brow Farm. Our track starts at the barn. Carry straight on up the farm track through a wood and steeply up hill. Laykin is the only cottage at the top of the hill. The cottage is a third of a mile from the barn with green doors.
