Ideal for an outdoors holiday, you can take part in an orienteering course, enjoy the panoramic views or try your hand at adrenaline sports. For the less adventurous, Theakston's and Black Sheep breweries are well worth a visit and for the kids, Lightwater Valley Theme Park offers a fun day out.

We have a great choice of pet friendly properties available sleeping 2-8 people. The Studio Apartment in West Burton has been lovingly converted from a former watermill and provides compact accommodation for a couple and their small dog. Cowlingholme Cottage is a delightfully converted detached stone cottage situated behind the main street of Askrigg. Sleeping 4, one well behaved dog is welcome. The Coach House, Thoralby sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and is ideal for the larger family. Green Bank in West Burton is elegant and distinctive with 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 and one dog is welcome.
