Bishop Monkton is fortunate enough to be located in the beautiful county of North Yorkshire, surrounded by breathtaking scenery in all seasons, and close to some of the country's most interesting cities and historical sites. Although one of the joys of visiting the area is undoubtedly to discover for youself what North Yorkshire has to offer, a few you may wish to consider are the beautiful Spa town of Harrogate, historic Ripon, Fountains Abbey, the Lightwater Valley Theme Park and the romantic ruins of Jervaulx Abbey to name a few. The area is criss crossed with an abundance of footpaths and offers quiet roads and byways for cyclists.

Full use of fresh, local produce is used seasonally to provide traditional Yorkshire fare in addition to the year round favourites, and the combination provides a mouth-watering selection for all tastes.
