We are within a 10 minutes walk of York city centre and York's Racecourse, making this the ideal base for a family holiday in York. Our guests have access to a private car park, allowing you and yours to explore the delights of this historic city on foot. Behind Hillcrest is the beautifully landscaped Rowntree Park consisting of formal gardens, tennis courts, bowling greens, children's play areas and a lake, teeming with wildlife. Beyond the park is the River Ouse and the delightful Riverside Walk into York city centre.
Broadband and wireless Internet access is available, allowing you to stay informed and in touch during your stay. Most major credit/debit cards (including amex) are accepted and we are a strictly non-smoking establishment. Our guests can expect a generous breakfast selection and we serve a nutritious, and much complimented, full English breakfast.
