Our beautiful Georgian courtyard with beautiful floral gardens surrounding the house & cottagesHidden away in the heart of Nidderdale you will find the beautifully maintained Duke's Place. This group of holiday cottages created from converted stables, are an ideal base for you to discover the Yorkshire Dales. The facilities we have to offer on site include pony trekking from our own stables as well as sixteen acres of land for exploring. Children are welcome and will be entertained for hours in the log cabin playhouse in the beech wood or in the riding school with Ursula.
The Nidderdale area is steeped in history and Fountains Abbey and Ripley Castle are only 5 minutes drive away, and with Harrogate only 15 minutes away there is no shortage of shops bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. For the golfers there are two local clubs that offer "pay and play" facilities, and as keen golfers here at Duke's Place we can always offer assistance from clubs to golfing partners. all you have to do is ask.
The cottages are fully equipped and modern and all towels and linen are included. B&B rooms are all ensuite, kingsize double room with jacuzzi bath and seperate shower, 2 ensuite shower twin rooms. All B&B rooms with glorious views over gardens and open countryside.
A starter pack for your holiday home can be pre arranged for your arrival please ask on booking. Pets and children are welcome and cots and high chairs can be arranged.

Directions from Harrogate From Harrogate Town Centre, follow the A61 north towards Ripon. Continue through Killinghall, by pass Ripley, and at the second Ripley Roundabout, follow the B6165 signposted Pateley Bridge. After 0.5 miles, take the next turning right onto Scarah Bank, signposted Bishop Thornton and Fountains Abbey. Follow this road for about 2 miles, past the Markington / Bishop Thornton crossroads. Continue straight on past the Chequers Inn and Duke's Place is 0.75 miles from the crossroads, on your left.
