Perfectly placed in the heart of Nidderdale, "The Courtyard" at Duke's Place is a well-maintained discreet group of holiday homes converted from the original stables, Granary and outbuildings which adjoin Duke's Place. Three charming Bed & Breakfast rooms await you in the owner's Georgian home which, with the working stables, helps to form an enclosed courtyard that features a fountain in the centre creating a tranquil environment and a relaxing atmosphere. Both bed and breakfast accommodation and self-catering accommodation are available. Ideally located for attractions such as Fountains Abbey, Ripley Castle and of course Ripon and Ripon Cathedral.
At Duke's Place, we have 6 purpose designed self-contained Holiday Cottages together with 3 charming Bed & Breakfast rooms in the main Farmhouse. The holiday cottages form a charming conversion of a former granary and stables around the courtyard of a Georgian farmhouse where Jaki and Paul (the owners) live. Duke's Place prides itself on its floral displays, with the patios and courtyard a mass of colour throughout most of the year. Duke's Place is extremely lucky to have so many excellent eating establishments very close by. In fact most of the nearby villages have a good pub.
The bed & breakfast offers a Double room with a Jacuzzi bathroom & shower, and two twin rooms both with ensuite showers. Breakfast can also be povided for anyone staying in the self catering cottages, please enquire when booking. The six cottages sleep from 2 to 6 people each and also provide highchairs & cots if required.
Duke's Place has its own Riding Stables on site and caters for all ages and all stages. The Riding School operates every day (except Christmas Day) and Ursula who runs the school will be happy to fix you up with a ride, whatever your standard.
