Pickering is an ancient market town in North Yorkshire famous for its steam railway. Wrelton is on the 128 bus route (Helmsley to Scarborough) and Pickering has excellent transport links to Malton, Whitby, Scarborough, York and Flamingo Land. The tourist venues of Pickering Castle, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Beck Isle Museum have made Pickering popular with visitors in recent years.The North yorkshire moors, the harbour town of Whitby; the historic city of York; the coastal towns of Scarborough, Filey and Robin Hoods Bay; Flamingoland and Goathland (at the centre of what is now referred to as Heartbeat country) are all easily reached for a day trip

The Gelding comprises of 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with additional sleeping on the sofa bed downstairs, whilst Bay Cottage has a gorgeous open plan living area complete with bio ethanol fire and a 4 poster bed upstairs. Horseshoe Cottage is a centrally heated ground floor holiday accommodation, making the cottage accessible for wheel chairs and those unable to climb stairs. Sleeping two people in a spacious superking/twin bedded room, this delightful cottage is accessed via the cosy conservatory & boasts a large walk in shower room with grab rails. Shower stool and raised toilet seat are both available on request.
We also have high-chair, travel cot and a young child's bed (under-11), available at no extra cost. The cottage also offers complimentary wireless internet access, private off-street parking and shared seating / patio / barbecue areas. Bedding, towels, heating and electricity are all included in the cost . Owners live on site. Pets very welcome, walks from your doorstep. Village pub welcomes children & pets
