This a delightful three storey Victorian House In the historic Georgian town of Richmond. Built in 1870, the house retains many original features and has been sympathetically modernised to now provide luxury B&B accommodation. Situted just a three minute walk from Richmond town centre and all its amenities, the guest house is well placed for exploring some of Yorkshire's finest countryside and attractions.
The Arrandale Guest House is ideally situated for exploring the interesting town of Richmond, it's surrounding countryside and many places of interest. Walkers and cyclists will be delighted with the choice of paths and routes in this picturesque area. Richmond itself is an historic Yorkshire Dales market town, with Norman castle, Georgian architecture, cobbled market place, monuments and abbeys, the fast flowing river Swale, and wonderful countryside. With the variety of shopping and its many pubs, hotels and restaurants, the proximity to the most stunning scenery anywhere to be seen, Richmond remains one of the most beautiful and rewarding places to visit in the Country. Nearby Ripon offers a superb cathedral or maybe you'd like to enjoy an exciting day at the races? Other attractions include Lightwater Valley and the city of York with its magnificent Minster.
The Arrandale Guest House offers a choice of three en-suite bedrooms to guests on a B&B basis. All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, large flat-screen TVs, double showers and hair dryers. Wi-Fi access to the Internet is also provided. There is a spacious and comfortable guests lounge with a selection of books and magazines. Meals are taken in the guests dining room that has been furnished and decorated to the highest standard. The Guest House also features an enclosed garden to the rear that is lit with ambient lighting at night; there is also a designated smoking area as there is no smoking in the house, thank you. Arandale boasts a Hot Tub which may be booked for private use. Bath robes and disposable slippers will be supplied.
Relax and enjoy the benefits of the Arandale Hot Tub! The hot tub can hold up to six people and private, 30 minutes sessions can be booked. Soak up the benefits of a warm and soothing massage that relieves anxiety and relaxes tense muscles, soothes headaches and reduces back pain. Medical experts agree that anyone wanting to induce sleep - especially those being kept awake by aches and pain - will benefit greatly from soaking in warm water about two hours before bedtime. Bath robes and disposable slippers will be supplied; please bring your own swimwear.
Arandale Guest House does not provide accommodation for children or pets. A young baby in a travel cot is acceptable at no extra charge.
