Baxby Manor offers a luxury stay in an idyllic 14th Century holiday cottage among the beautiful North Yorkshire scenery. The cottage is equipped to a high standard with modern facilities throughout. We deliver 3 en-suite double rooms and 2 twin rooms, sitting room, kitchen and library from which to enjoy the serene surroundings. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the rear rose gardens, divided in to 'rooms' to play various activities such as boules, badminton and more. Or take a stroll around the orchard where apple, pear and plum trees grow to give the cottage a classic country atmosphere. A great way to end your day, relax in front of the roaring log fire with a book and a drink.

Baxby Manor adjoins a 110 acre farm, where visitors are welcome to stroll around the farm lanes and fields to enjoy the views of the Pennines and Hambleton Hills and the local wildfire scattered through the region. There are plenty of things to do in North Yorkshire where guests can explore the picturesque Dales and Moors, the historic city of York, Whitby, Scarborough and Harrogate where a vast array of shops, restaurants and pubs await. North Yorkshire is home to a host of leisure activities including walking and cycling trails, surfing, canoeing, diving, climbing and more. Guests could even take to the skies in a hot air balloon or try gliding and take in the picturesque views of the vast landscape from the air. You could even have a day out at the races at one of the near by race courses.

The cottage contains 3 double en-suite and 2 twin rooms with lots of space and excellent storage. Baxby Manor also provides a large fitted kitchen with range cooker, 'American Style' fridge/freezer with ice maker, washing machine and tumble dryer, microwave and cd player. Relax in our sitting room in front of a roaring log fire, 36' TV and DVD player or take a pick of our array of books available in the library.
