Ideally located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and set in 12 acres of stunning private ancient woodland, limestone escarpment, wildflower meadow, orchards and more formal gardens. We are the ideal retreat for discerning guests looking for somewhere to relax, unwind and escape from it all. The house, a former gentleman's country residence, dates back to the eighteenth century and we invite you to stay in our private suite of rooms.
We are the ideal base for a holiday or short break. Although we enjoy a remote location, there is plenty to do close by and we are within easy reach of amenities. It is a a great place to stay whether fishing, walking, shooting, a special occasion, discovering or rediscovering this beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty. We are within easy reach of Grassington which is a fine example of a Yorkshire village. We are about a half hour drive from the spa town of Harrogate where you will find impressive architecture, independent shops and a range of museums and galleries.
Our small guest wing and comprises a spacious sitting room, mini kitchen, double bedroom and luxurious and restorative bathroom. The kitchen has a fridge and hot drink facilities. You can also enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine whilst enjoying the sensational views. It has Sky television and radio, but please note that we have no phone and no mobile phone reception available. However we are happy to take messages and a land line and computer are available in the main house.
A full English breakfast is served in the dining room of Stonelands or a luxury continental breakfast may be delivered to your suite. We can also provide a delicious dinner in the dining room of Stonelands or alternatively, supper may be delivered to your suite from a previously chosen menu.
