Dining at The Grand is an essential part of your stay. Our menu focuses on modern British Cuisine and is served in a historic setting. Our head chef and his team use local produce to create everything from a Yorkshire Sunday Lunch or a pleasant afternoon tea. Enjoy a drink from our bar or wine cellar and why not sample one of our 190 whiskies?

Lunch is served in the Hudson Restaurant from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and afternoon tea can be taken between 1pm and 5pm. Dinner is served between 6pm and 10pm.

Relax with a cocktail at the Grand Bar with over 70 varieties to choose from. We also serve a range of spirits from around the world and some of Yorkshire's finest ales including Minster Ale which is brewed just 100 yards from the hotel.

Private dining is available in our elegant HQ dining room and guests can also dine al fresco on the Ruinart Terrace. A marquee can also be erected on the Terrace for events of up to 220 people.
