Welcome to the Countryman's Inn, a traditional country pub in the village of Hunton near Bedale. We're situated midway between the market towns of Bedale and Leyburn in Lower Wensleydale on the borders of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Countryman's offers a warm welcome, locally brewed Cask Marque ales and four newly refurbished ensuite guest rooms. Enjoy dining in our award winning a la carte restaurant or enjoy a bar snack relaxing in front of the log fire in the lounge or in the summer months, our beer garden is the perfect place to end your day after exploring the nearby countryside. We offer regular entertainment in the bar including a fortnightly Music Night and annual book club.
Our superior double ensuite room, number 3, is ideal for couples and offers a newly refurbished bathroom. Room four is ideal for families and offers a twin or super king-size room and additional sofa bed. Room 2 is a superior single or small ensuite double room ideal for both business and leisure stays. Room one is a large double/ triple ensuite room. Certain rooms are pet friendly with well behaved dogs and cats welcome. All rooms offer a flat screen TV, DVD player, biscuits, tea/ coffee making facilities and free wifi.

New double glazing is fitted in the guest rooms and solar panels have been installed to serve the hot water requirements. Low energy light bulbs are used and we recycle all cardboard and glass waste.
