It takes up the entire top two floors of this Grade-2 listed building, and is privileged to have excellent views of the magnificent York Minster. The apartment is available for weekly lets and weekend breaks, and is perfect for exploring the historical city of York. Underneath the apartment is the award winning Cafe/Bistro - Cafe Concerto, where you can sample the excellent daytime and evening menus. York offers lots of attractions such as the Jorvik Viking Centre, the York Dungeon and the York-boat River Cruise. All of these attractions and more will make your stay a memorable one.
You will wake up and have fantastic views of the extraordinary and beautiful York Minster, which is awe-inspiring to look upon. The architecture and wonder of Northern Europe's second largest Gothic Cathedral is beyond words. It will truly amaze you as you travel up the spiral steps towards the top of the Cathedral. Other attractions and activities include, museums, theatres and York Racecourse. Amenities are also close to hand with food shops, deli's and banks being easy to find.
The apartment has two bedrooms. One has a queen-sized bed and the other has a queen-sized bed and single bed. Both rooms are stylish with bright and colourful interiors, and come with Egyptian bed linen, duvets, cotton bed throws, digital radio clock and Ipod docks. One bedroom benefits from having an additional hand wash basin and the other has a flat-screen TV and free-view. There is a large open-plan living/dining room which has direct views to the front of York Minster's West entrance. The dining table seats up-to 6 people. The kitchen is superbly equipped with coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, cooker, fridge, freezer, toaster and extensive utensils and china and glassware. The bathroom comes with bath/shower and extras such as bathrobes, towels, bath-sheets, and luxury toiletries. There is a a hi-Fi with cd's, DVD player, telephone (private phone line and free UK calls at all times) and free Wi-fI. All rooms maintain a music themed background and have quirky pieces of art throughout.
