Within half an hour lie Harrogate, Ilkley and Haworth's 'Bronte Country' with the market town of Skipton just 15 minutes away.

The guesthouse is fully equipped with many amenities including a cosy guest lounge with log fire in winter, a second contemporary-styled guest lounge with leather sofas and flat screen TV. There is ample private parking so no need to worry about parking in bustling and busy Grassington. There is also a private patio with garden furniture where guests can relax. A route planning service with printed maps is available free of charge. Children who are 12 and over are welcome and for the comfort of all our guests we are a non-smoking guesthouse. Sorry we do not accept pets. Guests will love the extensive breakfast menu cooked to order and served in the dining room from 8.15am to 9.00am. Special dietary requirements can be catered for but please do advise on booking. Our full Yorkshire hearty breakfasts are a delight, and we take care to use fine local produce. Our bread is baked by Craven bakery in Skipton and our bacon and sausage is supplied by Jacksons of Cracoe. Why not sample our delicious smoked salmon breakfast option, served with scrambled eggs on brown or white buttered toast. We don't cater for evening meals, however guests benefit from a wide selection of local restaurants, cafes and pubs in the area. We would be delighted to book a table on your behalf if required at our own restaurant within the Grassington House Hotel.

Rooms Description

Guests can choose from Standard Rooms or Premium Rooms. Standard Room facilities include en-suite facilities, colour TV, and DVD player. We have a selection of up to date DVD's available to borrow free of charge. Standard rooms also include bathrobes, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities and a selection of local OS maps and guidebooks to the area for use during your stay. Luxury touches are standard, and rooms are equipped with a selection of Molton and Brown toiletries. For a real touch of luxury why not choose one of our Premium rooms. In addition to the above facilities in Standard rooms, the Premium rooms are more spacious, have sitting areas and a fridge stocked with mineral water and fresh milk. All our rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished, with co-ordinated fabrics, and sublime wall colours, coming together to offer guests an atmosphere of relaxation and pure luxury.

Stay with us and have a chance to meet a real Calendar Girl. The girls are still raising funds and for a small donation (and subject to availability of one or more of the girls) you can enjoy a chat over a cup of tea here with us. Grassington Lodge has teamed up with local professional guides and outdoor activity providers to offer guests a superb choice of organised outdoor activities. A wide range of activities can be organised on your behalf including Navigation Skills, Using a GPS, Safety on the Fells, Night Navigation, Climbing and Abseiling, Adventure Challenges, Caving, Canoeing, and Horse trail rides. This outdoor activities programme is perfect for business or leisure/family groups. Grassington Lodge then offers the opportunity to enjoy a Yorkshire Dales activity holiday in a luxurious guesthouse base. What better venue also than Grassington, a picturesque village with a cobbled square and quaint streets which lies on the edge of the River Wharfe in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village offers a good mix of interesting shops and restaurants along with several fine old pubs which serve a good selection of Yorkshire brewed ales and excellent food.
