This luxury 4 star has been awarded a Silver accolade from Visit Britain for outstanding excellence, it is a beautiful 17th century Manor House perfectly situated to explore York, the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire National Park. A grade II listed house, the guest house is full of character with oak beamed rooms and open fires. You can be assured of a relaxed and comfortable visit, with the bedrooms beautifully presented and furnished to a high standard.
The Manor House nestles in the unspoilt village of Linton on Ouse with three pubs/restaurants within a mile. For the outdoor enthusiast there is an abundance of scenic walking and cycle paths. For those looking for culture the historic city of York is eight miles away (we recommend access via the excellent park and ride system a 10 min. Journey away). Just a short drive away are Ripon and Harrogate. Whether you are looking for a rural retreat or an action packed week of activities, the Manor House is the perfect location to explore York and North Yorkshire.
We offer six individually appointed en-suite rooms. All are spacious and beautifully furnished with luxurious large beds, Egyptian cotton linen, antique furnishings, flat screen digital TV's with built in DVD, Molton Brown toiletries and a well stocked compliment tray. Additionally there is a ground floor suite ideal for families or two couples. The suite comprises of sitting/dining room with a small kitchen area, a double bedroom , a twin bedroom and a shower room. It has its own entrance from an easy access patio. Breakfast is served in the house dining room.
We have three acres of gardens, stabling and paddocks with a spacioous stable yard car park. Guests with dogs and horses are welcome (by prior arrangement) to house their pets in a stable or use the paddocks sharing with our own sheep and hens.
