About this Pub Accommodation

Welcome to The Bay Horse Country Inn in Rainton. Situated close to the A1, our wonderful 18th century coaching inn offers a relaxed atmosphere in the bar, eight overnight ensuite rooms, car parking and a newly refurbished restaurant serving locally sourced cuisine. Ideal for both business and leisure, Thirsk can be found a short drive away and we are also convenient for Ripon, Lightwater Valley Theme Park and wonderful walks in Bedale or on the North York Moors. Enjoy real ales in front of the open fire or watch the world go by from our outdoor seating area with picnic tables in the summer.

Each of our eight guest rooms is tastefully decorated and well equipped with Freeview TV, hospitality tray and ensuite with bath and shower facilities. We offer double and twin guest rooms with room rates including a full cooked breakfast. Ingredients include freshly prepared sausages, bacon and black pudding or we can serve lighter options including cereal. Discounts may be available for longer stays and WiFi service is provided at our inn.
