Visit Websitefor more informationBuilt in the valley below Pickering Castle and attached to the earliest recorded mill in Pickering, High Mill House is an extensively refurbished Victorian property sleeping from 2 to 12 guests. Our self catering accommodation provides an excellent base for exploring all that Yorkshire has to offer, including the North Yorkshire Moors, the coast and some of the finest attractions around. The cottage is perfect for families and groups.
Tea and coffee are provided on arrival and guests can enjoy an afternoon in the sun on the private patio and south facing garden. High Mill House retains many original Victorian features in all of its rooms and The Limes Cottage combines modern conveniences with comfortable furnishings, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their surroundings. The ground floor in both properties consist of comfortable sofas and chairs, TV and DVD/Video player.
The property sleeps 12 guests in four en suite bedrooms. Each room has a radio alarm clock, hair dryer and combination safes. Linen and towels are provided, and the high quality pocket sprung mattresses will ensure a good nights rest. 1st Floor room 1: 3 singles, room 2: double and single. 2nd Floor room 3: double and single, room 4: 3 singles. The Limes Cottage sleeps 2 guests in either a twin or double bedroom, there is ample wardrobe space and linen and towels provided.
Please note that the garden is bordered by the Mill stream on one side and the railway on the other, so children must be supervised at all times. A safe fenced area is provided in front of the house. The property includes a safe bike storage and drying room for walkers and cyclists. The Limes Cottage is all on one level with underfloor heating. Guests also have use to the patio and BBQ area.
