Dating from 1800, this charming old fisherman's cottage is brimming with character and overlooks the picture-postcard harbour at Staithes. Traditional features include exposed oak beams and wood panelling and the cottage is just 20 yards from real ale village inns and two seaside cafes. Attractions in Staithes within easy walking distance include the Captain Cook Museum, a choice of delightful craft and specialist shops and an art gallery. Staithes is renowned for its artistic heritage and the famous Staithes School of Painting.

Accommodating 5 guests comfortably, our Staithes fisherman's cottage has three bedrooms including a first floor master double bedroom with ample wardrobe storage space and a dressing table, a colour remote control tv and we'll happily provide a cot on request. A single bedroom, also with a wardrobe and dressing table, is to the first floor together with a separate wc with wash basin. A spacious attic twin bedroom with a dressing table and sea views is on the second floor as well as a fully fitted bathroom and landing area ideal for drying/ hanging clothes. Ground floor living space includes an entrance lobby with a payphone provided, a fully fitted kitchen inclusive of a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and electric cooker with hob and an attractive sitting/ dining room with colour tv, DVD, video, CD and a selection of books and games.
