18th Century Stone Built House, ETC 4 star rating, village location With Stunning Panoramic Views.
Middleham house is an 18th century stone built dwelling situated in the centre of the village with a stream running along side and stunning panoramic views, it is a great place to unwind. There is a superb pub and restaurant 1 minute walk away! We have ample off road parking and a garage for cycles. Children are welcome but unfortunately we can not accept dogs. We have now been awarded 4 stars by the ETC
Middleham house is located in the picturesque village of Carlton in Coverdale. Situated in The Yorkshire Dales National Park between the historic towns of Leyburn (5 miles) and Hawes (10 miles) in the heart of James Herriot country, this is the perfect place to relax. The area is popular for walking, fishing, cycling and other country pursuits. There are many attractions within the vicinity such as the mysterious gardens at The Forbidden Corner, the renowned Aysgarth Falls and the historic market town of Leyburn.

Two of our rooms offer uninterupted views to the south of the dale. The rooms have comfortable beds, LCD T.V's, hair dryers, alarm clocks and tea-coffee making facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.

Directions
By Road from the A1(M) North or South Leave the A1 at Leeming Bar (signposted Bedale and Leeming Bar Services) and take the A684 through Bedale and on to Leyburn. At Leyburn stay on the A684 towards Hawes and after passing through the village of Wensley, take the left hand turn, signposted Carlton and Coverdale which will take you to the village.
