There is a superb pub and restaurant 1 minute walk away! We have ample off road parking and a garage for cycles. Children are welcome but unfortunately we can not accept dogs. We have now been awarded 4 stars by the ETC
Middleham House is located in the picturesque village of Carlton in Coverdale. Situated in The Yorkshire Dales National Park between the historic towns of Leyburn (5 miles) and Hawes (10 miles) in the heart of James Herriot country, this is the perfect place to relax. The area is popular for walking, fishing, cycling and other country pursuits. There are many attractions within the vicinity such as the mysterious gardens at The Forbidden Corner, the renowned Aysgarth Falls and the historic market town of Leyburn.
All rooms are newly refurbished and offer an excellent standard of accommodation, with an emphasis on comfort and quality. There are superking, double and twin rooms available all with en-suites. Two of our rooms offer uninterupted views to the south of the dale. The rooms have comfortable beds, LCD T.V's, hair dryers, alarm clocks and tea-coffee making facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.
We offer an extensive breakfast menu including a locally produced full English breakfast guaranteed to satisfy the largest of appetites. Pack lunches and special dietary requirements can be catered for by arrangement. We offer reduced rates for children and stays of more than four nights.
