The surrounding area to the cottages is captivated in beauty, peace and vibrancy. Whitby offers quaint tea rooms, bringing a touch of nostalgic charm as well as famous fish restaurants and the best pubs. There are also other attractions to the town including museums, art galleries, boat rides and the theatre. The site on which the cottages are found runs adjacent to the picturesque North Yorkshire moors and offers the perfect place for walkers to enjoy the views and the examples of wildlife that can be seen in their habitats are outstanding. Its location in the small peaceful town of Runswarp is ideal, as it has a grocery shop, butchers and a nice cosy pub for you to enjoy the friendly vibe of the area. Not to mention being a good location for mini golf, canoeing, rowing boats and there is even a miniature railway for the children to enjoy, making this a fantastic place to get away for everyone.
There are 8 cottages to choose from and something to meet the needs of all typed of party. Whether it be a romantic holiday or a family holiday Riverside Cottages offers the best quality rooms to accommodate you on your getaway. The most spacious cottage is Chainbridge House. Housing a maximum of 6 people which is the maximum any of the cottages hold it gives a traditional feel with an open fire warming the lounge in the winter. There is also a delightful first floor balcony which overlooks the river giving you a lovely setting for a family evening get together and a chance to view the wildlife in all its beauty. The room sizes range from double, twinned and single and there is a cot room in Chainbridge House. All cottages are decorated and furnished to the highest standard. All of the kitchens are well equipped and the bathrooms clean and fully fitted.
All of Riverside cottages are Proud to be Pet friendly and there is on-site parking available. All accommodation is no smoking therefore guaranteeing the cleanest and most comfortable of stays possible.
