A warm Yorkshire welcome awaits you at the only AA 4 Star Awarded guest house in the beautiful village of Malham. Set amongst stunning limestone scenery with a multitude of walking and cycling routes running past the front door. We are members of Deliciously Yorkshire, as we use only locally sourced produce for our breakfasts and evening meals. Guests can expect high quality en-suite rooms, wireless broadband, an excellent restaurant and pets are welcome. Local attractions include the stunning natural amphitheatre of Malham Cover, the peaceful and intriguing Janet's Foss, the impressive Goredale Scar and the popular Malham Landscape Trail. Enjoy walking, climbing, cycling, caving and more in this fantastic area.

Parts of River House was originally built in 1664 and now offers a 4 Star Awarded guest accommodation with AA awards for outstanding breakfasts and evening meals. Today River House combines modern facilities with period elegance, all our 8 bedrooms, are en-suite, 2 with baths and showers the other 6 with showers, some are power showers. All en-suites have heated towel rails. a few of our bedrooms have stunning views of the dales. All bedrooms are no-smoking. 1 room is on the ground floor for easy access for the less able walkers. A fantastic choice of breakfast is served fresh each morning and a superb dinner menu is served in the evenings. A guest lounge with wood burning stove, wireless internet, board games and reading matter along with secure cycle storage make this an excellent choice for anyone wishing to enjoy this beautiful corner of Yorkshire.

All 8 bedrooms are en-suite, we have 2 twin rooms with shower en-suite 1 on the ground floor a large twin room with grab rails in the shower room, so ideal for the less able walker. The other twin room is on the 1st floor with lovely views of the dales. we also have 6 double room all ensuite 2 in the front house are large 1 with original fire place and it has a en-suite shower room, the other has en-suite with corner bath and shower. the other 4 double rooms are to the rear of the house, quiet rooms all en-suite with power shower and 1 also has a bath.
