Well-furnished, and equipped for short breaks and holidays in any season, the cottage has a comfortable lounge with an open fire, and a selection of books, games and DVDs for your enjoyment. Off-road, you'll find parking facilities for two cars, and there are gardens to the front and back of the house (the front garden has furniture, the rear garden is sloped). Sunnymede Cottage sleeps up to six people, with great facilities for families. Nearby, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing, convenient holiday.
You'll be just five mile from Masham during your Sunnymede stay, with easy access by foot or car to the market town and various shops, pubs, restaurants and craft centres. For a great day out, tour the Black Sheep Brewery (of course, you'll be welcome to sample the offerings), or go on a long walk beside the River Ure. Nearby, historic attractions and heritage sites offer somewhere to go in the summer, whilst there are cosy pubs serving home-cooked food for those who want a meal out at any time of the year. With two weekly markets, on a Wednesday and a Saturday, Masham's also well suited to shoppers and souvenir collectors.
Sunnymede Cottage caters well to a maximum of six guests, suited to a maximum of four adults, with a third room containing bunk beds for children. The other rooms, suitable for adults and for kids, are a double and a twin. All rooms share a well-equipped bathroom with both shower and bath facilities, and as well as a cosy lounge guests will have access to a stylish dining room seating all members of the household at once.
Sunnymede Cottage will welcome your pet for the duration of your stay, with one well-behaved dog catered for. Those travelling with younger children can ask for a highchair to make life a little easier, and the cottage also boasts laundry facilities for your convenience.
