This peaceful haven is by the edge of the majestic Yorkshire Wolds, and the Aylesbury and Brown Owl cabins will provide with all the relaxing seclusion you desire. The lake has a wonderful selection of fish and is an absolute joy for the avid fisherman. There are common carp, leather carp and mirror carp to name but a few. Pocklington is close by and it presents you with a pretty market town with a wide range of restaurants, traditional pubs, shops and a weekly market.
For those seeking a bit of peaceful leisure time, why not visit one of the two golf courses which are nearby? The courses will present challenges for the experienced golfer, whilst they take in the ambient surroundings. There are also many trails to explore and these will present you with unrivalled scenery and intriguing discoveries. If you fancy venturing further afield, pay a visit to the historic city of York. Here you will find some of the worlds most popular attractions such as the spectacular York Minster.
