Wood View Guest House is one of Austwick's oldest farmhouses (circa 1700), being an elegant Grade II listed building situated on the village green. Containing many original features such as open fires and beams, it is the home of Sue and David Dewhirst, who provide a high standard of accommodation for discerning visitors to the area. Wood View has six comfortably furnished, spacious double/twin bedrooms, each with en-suite bath or shower facilities. Each room also has a colour television, clock radio, hairdryer, hospitality tray and toiletries. Breakfast is a leisurely affair at Wood View, with generous helpings of traditional English food, as well as a vegetarian option. Packed lunches can be provided and flasks filled to fortify you during your day on the fells! Children of all ages are welcome with cots and high chairs available on request.

This lovely Yorkshire Dales accommodation serves complimentary refreshments in the residents' lounge on arrival to help you feel welcome and rested after your long journey. This charming beamed room has an open log fire in the cooler months and is the ideal place to discuss the days' adventures, read a book or just relax. Well behaved dogs are accepted by prior arrangement. Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the Wood View Guest House acts as a fantastic base from which to explore this area of natural beauty. Guests can spend a day hiking or cycling through the many trails and pathways that cut through the Dales, enjoy climbing on the limestone rocks, explore the 2000 caves and potholes and 400km of surveyed passages and take to the sky to try paragliding or hang gliding to take in the picturesque views.
