Rose Cottage Guest House is a special hidden gem situated in a lovely country valley near Halifax and just 15 minutes from Haworth, the heart of Bronte Country. The bed and breakfast has been graded 5 Diamonds with a Silver award reflecting the high level of comfort, facilities and personal service provided. We're situated in the heart of the Shibden Fold area near Halifax, and guests have easy access to a selection of local inns offering superb food and real ales just 10 minutes walk from the B&B. We're the perfect base for walkers, and are ideally situated for Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, the Yorkshire Dales and The Peak District.
This historic guesthouse, parts of which date back to the 15th century, was originally the manor farm of Shibden Hall. Guests can expect spacious, comfortable and centrally heated accommodation which includes two bedrooms, a sitting room and study. Extensive gardens with multiple patios, orchard and paddocks in a green belt. Relax in either of the two individual and luxurious en-suite bedrooms followed by a fresh, homecooked breakfast of your choice. Safe parking and the use of a private study are provided. Wireless Broadband and computer services are also available. A small office with desktop and laptop computers, telephone, printer, scanner, fax, modem and broadband facilities is available.

The two themed and individually decorated rooms include The "Elizabeth Rose" Room, with a double bed with en-suite bath and shower facilities. The "Tudor Rose" is a twin bedded room with en-suite shower. Both rooms are beautifully decorated and luxuriously furnished in a warm and comfortable style. The "Tudor Rose" has a stunning display of oak beams. For children up to 8 we have a sofa bed (for up to 2 children) in the twin-bedded room. Each bedroom has tea & coffee facilities, biscuits, sweets, still and sparkling water, television, and radio/alarm clock.
Two or three course evening meals are available, and guests have the use of a private study, with it's own library. In addition we often provide specialist information re local facilities.
