The Ruskin Living is our guest house accommodation in Harrogate, where we provide outstanding standards of hospitality, service, food and comfort, and for which we've been awarded a 'Golden Pillow' commendation by 'The Sunday Times'. Set in a conservation area the property was built in the mid-nineteenth century and is so named because it was reportedly visited by John Ruskin, the eminent Victorian art critic, author, artist and philanthropist. It retains many of it's original features and charm and is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the conference and exhibition centre.

All of our luxury en-suite rooms have their own unique character and are beautifully furnished with Victorian pine and decorated to a high standard. The four-poster bedroom is perfect for that special occasion whilst the ground floor bedroom is ideal for less able guests. Each of the seven guest rooms enjoys pleasant views across the gardens. Our bar offers an excellent choice of wines, spirits and local beers and the sunny veranda, overlooking the gardens, is a lovely spot to enjoy a drink in summer. We have a private floodlit car park.
