For those who love to explore the countryside by foot, the famous Lyke wake walk passes through the valley to the rear of the cottage and is perfect for making some wonderful discoveries.

The bedroom will provide you with the luxurious comfort you desire, and the bathroom facilities are perfect for relaxing in. The rooms throughout the cottage are superbly equipped with gas hob and electric oven, washing machine, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, microwave, 2 flat-screen TV's with free-view, DVD player and music centre.

Scarborough Beach and town is only 12 miles away and is one of the UK's favourite sea-side resorts. There are many attractions within the town such as the historic Scarborough Castle, Hairy Bob's Cave which has been surrounded by legend and folklore for over a century, and the town also has some chilling ghost walks. If you want to explore the Yorkshire Coast even further, the historical harbour town of Whitby is only 8 miles away and has a fine selection of quirky shops, restaurants, wine bars and traditional pubs. And it was here that Bram Stoker began to pen the first words of his world famous novel 'Dracula'.

Our holiday cottage in Fylingdales has solid oak furniture and sumptuous linens and fabrics. Stable Cottage has traditional beams, open ceilings, and stone flooring with underfloor heating. There are stone window seats. Guests will receive a complimentary welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, fruit basket and locally sourced bothams biscuits. A breakfast hamper can be ordered upon request. The cottage has private parking and a private south facing garden with patio furniture. We provide complimentary bathrobes. All linen is provided including bedding, towels, tea towels, dish cloths, oven gloves and an apron. The holiday cottage has the highest standard of quality fixtures and fittings. Access to drying facilities during the months March - October.
