The guest house is located in the heart of Skipton, and is within easy reach of all the town's attractions and amenities. The bus station is located opposite the property and the train station is just a 10 minute walk away. The High Street and Skipton Market are close by, as are the town centre's restaurants, pubs and nightlife. If you want to explore local history, Skipton Castle and the Craven Museum and Gallery are within walking distance. Skipton is known as the gateway to the Dales, and is ideally placed for walkers and visitors wanting to explore the towns and villages of the Dales.

The Unicorn Hotel has 9 guest bedrooms, all of which have en-suite facilities. There are 3 standard double rooms, 2 superior double rooms, 2 twin rooms, a family room sleeping 4 and a deluxe double which has a king sized bed and a sitting area. All rooms are centrally heated and have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryer, alarm clocks and an iron/ironing board are available on request. A Continental breakfast is included in the room rate, with a cooked breakfast available for an additional coast.
The Unicorn Hotel has an interesting history, being in existence since the early 19th century. The current hotel is is part of the original Bentley Brewery Building which came into being just after the First World War, when the Keighley Road approach to the town centre was widened. The whole building was a public house and hotel up until the mid 70's when a conversion took place leaving the property in its current set-up.
