The luxurious self catering Sandsend Pavilion dates from 1910. This luxury holiday cottage has been recently renovated to the highest of standards, and makes the ideal base for families or groups of friends, with easy access to both the local glorious sandy beach and nearby Whitby. The cottage itself is spacious, with superb sea views and a large, private leisure area. Surrounding lawns are perfect as childrens' play areas, and the cottage is situated just 50m from Sandsend beach which consistently wins 'Good Beach' awards! Parking is provided for 3/4 vehicles, and the local village of Sandsend is a charming spot, just 3 miles from Whitby.
The village is fully equipped with a friendly pub, 3 cosy cafes, a village shop and post office. The property is also ideally situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, so we're perfect for walkers! Other amenities nearby include a good golf course and excellent road links/public transport into nearby Whitby. Sorry we do not welcome pets.
The cottage has 5 bedrooms and will comfortably sleep 10 guests. Four of the rooms are ensuites plus the cottage has a family bathroom. The large kitchen/diner is fully equipped with a range cooker, large fridge/freezer and the cottage has a washing/drying/storage area in the utility off from the kitchen. The lounge is well equiped with SKY and audio-visual equipment, a range of games and reading materials and also provides a comfortable living space with superb sea views.
Disabled facilities are good in one bedroom with ensuite along with wheelchair access to the kitchen/diner and lounge.
