In 1695, Ambrose Wigglesworth opened the doors to his first customers. Three hundred years later, we continue the tradition of offering hospitality and a warm welcome in this seventeenth century inn situated beside the Maypole Green in the picturesque Dales village of Long Preston. The Maypole Inn's two bars offer a good selection of hand-pulled ales. The inn has been selected five times as CAMRA Pub of the Season for the district. With open fires for the cool winter months and outside seating by the pretty green during the summer, it is well patronised by both locals and visitors. We offer accommodation on site, and we provide a wonderful welcome to all.

Here at The Maypole Inn, we're proud to offer a selection of beautifully furnished rooms ideal for walkers and for restful stays. We have six bedrooms to choose from, and they all have private bathrooms, in-room TVs and hot beverage facilities. We can accommodate individuals, couples and families, and we have single, double and twin rooms. You'll also have use of our guest lounge. Each morning, all guests enjoy a wonderful cooked breakfast using the finest locally-sourced ingredients.
