The hotel benefits from superb sea views, and overlooks the magnificent North Bay. Awarded 4 Star for comfort and quality, guests can expect a high standard of cleanliness, superb homecooked food and a warm and friendly welcome to holiday haven Scarborough. Many of our rooms have fantastic sea views and The Ellenby is situated close to all of Scarborough's many amenities, including the Alexander Bowls which offers indoor and outdoor bowling. The Sea-Life Centre, Peasholm Park, the Cricket Ground and The Amusements are all in close proximity.
Guests have easy access to Scarborough town centre, within easy walking distance. Attractions include the historic Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough's many cafes, pubs and restaurants and the shopping precinct and South Bay. We're the perfect base for touring the Yorkshire Coast and North Yorkshire Moors, with Whitby, Filey, York, The North York Moors and Goathland (Heartbeat Country) all within an hours car journey from the hotel. For the comfort of all our guests we are non smoking throughout. Other amenities within the hotel include our relaxing sea view bar and lounge.
All rooms are en-suite with shower and toilet. They also include colour television, radio alarm clocks, tea and coffee making facilities. Full central heating is throughout.
Evening meals are not available. We welcome families with children from the age of 5, and child reductions are available when sharing with two adults.
