For a luxurious stay in beautiful Newton on Rawcliffe, Wagtail Cottage stands on the edge of the North York Moors. It's within an hour of the coast, and of historic York, and it stands on our expansive working farm surrounded by peaceful woodland, open fields and country trails. During your stay you're welcome to enjoy rest and relaxation in the sauna, or a game of pool in our games room. The village sports centre offers a selection of sports and activities free of charge, and there are shops and pubs within walking distance.

Our cottage features a beautiful private garden including a hot tub, a BBQ and patio furniture. There's a twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds and an en-suite shower room including a cubicle with water jets, steam jets and a radio. The second bedroom is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom including a jacuzzi bath, and both bedrooms have in-room TVs. The cottage can sleep up to five, with a fold-out bed available for an additional £25, and it features a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, dishwasher and laundry facilities amongst other essentials, and a comfortable sitting room with a gas fire, TV, cinema surround sound, a DVD player and a VHS player. Dining facilities are also provided.
