Bellegreen Cottage is a charming 4 star graded self catering home overlooking The Green at Reeth, a delightful Yorkshire Dales village at the junction of Swaledale and Argengarthdale. Bellegreen is a stone-built three storey house recently renovated throughout. Reeth is located approximately 6 miles from Leyburn and 12 miles from Richmond and the A1 at Bedale is approximately 30 minutes by car. Perfect as a Yorkshire Dales walking or touring base, Reeth is a typical Dales village dominated by a large green and overlooked by Fremington Edge. The village has three pubs (all of which serve good food) and a number of shops and restaurants.
The cottage accommodates 7 plus 2 guests comfortably in four bedrooms which include 2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 single and 1 double sofa-bed in the extra lounge. Outside Patio doors from the kitchen lead to a BBQ area, ideal for summer evenings, with gas-fired BBQ, table and chairs. Steps lead up to a small garden. A handy Utility room is off from the patio area and is equipped with Automatic Washing Machine, Freezer and Tumbler Dryer. Private parking is available at the front for one car, and plentiful public parking is within 50 metres.
On the Ground Floor the cottage contains a large kitchen/dining room, with a dining table to seat 8 plus 2 extra occasionally. The fully equipped kitchen includes an Electric Cooker, Dishwasher, Fridge, Microwave Oven, and a Colour Television. Conveniently on the ground floor is Bathroom 1 with shower spray over bath, toilet and basin. A extra sitting room is available with sofa bed (for extra 2 people if required) and Colour Television. The property benefits from full oil-fired central heating and the cost of fuel is included in the rental. All bed linen and duvets are supplied and Towels may be hired if required. A Cot and high chair are also available.
