A recently converted bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Wensleydale, this historic building was constructed in 1862 and has been upgraded to provide a guest lounge and the offer of home cooked evening meals. Our three luxurious rooms are situated within the upper floor area of The Old Town Hall.
A beautiful, quaint bed and breakfast, guests can also take advantage of our home cooked supper. We offer three courses of home cooked food and coffee served in the guest lounge or the dining room. Just a small amount of notice is required. Alternatively, close by is a charming village pub that serves home cooked meals. The surrounding area also offers guests the opportunity to enjoy some of the best walking and cycling in England. With unrivalled scenery and charming market towns, there are plenty of walks for everybody of any age to enjoy.The Old Town Hall is also located on The Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way and The Herriot Way, an ideal base for many other routes and walks for those who like to see the sites of the English countryside.
Each of the three deluxe guest rooms have their own unique character and charm, and offer numerous luxury touches. Clifton is a luxury double room with a Super Kingsize bed and ensuite. Furnished in natural colours and materials with wooden clad ceilings, it is a very calm and relaxing room. Hutton is another luxury double/ twin bedroom with private bathroom including a full size bath with shower. Avignon our third luxury bedroom, with a Super Kingsize bed and a luxury ensuite with double whirlpool bath and large separate shower with body jets. All our rooms provide our guests with 2 small bottles of wine for your arrival, fridge with bottled water and fresh milk, luxury bathrobes, luxury 'Champaney's' Spa Products, flat Screen TV/DVD player, alarm clock, air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities.
