The Old Town Hall Guest House and Tea Rooms offers peace and tranquility in the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. A recently converted bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Wensleydale, this historic building was constructed in 1862 and has been upgraded to provide a guest lounge and the offer of home cooked evening meals. Our three luxurious rooms are situated within the upper floor area of The Old Town Hall. The tea room is laid out in a clean and homely style and the menu is traditional Tea Room fare with the vast majority of our ingredients being sourced from local suppliers and farms. Delicious Yorkshire Tea from Taylors of Harrogate is of course served. All the food is home cooked and the cakes are made daily.

A beautiful, quaint bed and breakfast, guests can also take advantage of our home cooked supper. We offer three courses of home cooked food and coffee served in the guest lounge or the dining room. Just a small amount of notice is required. Alternatively, close by is a charming village pub that serves home cooked meals. The surrounding area also offers guests the opportunity to enjoy some of the best walking and cycling in England. With unrivalled scenery and charming market towns, there are plenty of walks for everybody of any age to enjoy.The Old Town Hall is also located on The Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way and The Herriot Way, an ideal base for many other routes and walks for those who like to see the sites of the English countryside.
