Holiday all year round at our Grade II listed cottages situated in a quiet location, next to Pickering Castle in the heart of the traditional North York Moors market town of Pickering. Recently renovated and packed with original features, both cottages offer well equipped accommodation finished to a high standard and enjoying lovely views over the Vale of Pickering. Pickering makes an ideal base for exploring the North York Moors and Yorkshire's North Moors Railway, Dalby Forest, Flamingoland, Eden camp and the Beck Isle museum. A superb holiday base for the whole family, Beacon cottage sleeps 4 people, Castle cottage sleeps 3/4 and, being adjacent together they can easily accommodate a party of 7 or 8 if you take both cottages.

BEACON COTTAGE consists of two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, a Ground floor bathroom with basin, WC and bath with shower over, a fitted kitchen, dining room. and a cosy living room with open fire. There is a storage shed outside for bikes. The enclosed cottage garden has outside seating and a barbecue. Roadside parking is available in front of the property. CASTLE COTTAGE consists of two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single with additional pull out bed. On the Ground floor there's a bathroom with basin, WC and bath with shower over, a fitted kitchen and Dining room. The cosy living room has an open fire and a storage shed for Bikes is provided. The enclosed cottage garden has outside seating and a barbecue. Roadside parking is in front of the property.

Rooms Description

Facilities in both cottages include full central heating with additional heating from the open fire in the living room, a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, colour TV with DVD player, and a CD player. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the open fire is included, as is bed linen. A cot and highchair are available on request and there is shared access to a washing machine. Dogs are welcome and the cottages are no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants in Pickering are within easy walking distance.
