You can enjoy spectacular views across neighbouring moorland
3 tastefully furnished rooms including a guest loungeMount Skip Bed and Breakfast is situated in a beautiful rural position, at an altitude of 300m, on a hillside overlooking the Calder Valley, with spectacular views across the neighbouring moorland for over 30 miles. This historic accommodation is just one mile to the east of Hebden Bridge town centre and stands within the Green Belt and a Special Landscape Area. The original Mount Skip was built in 1718 as a drovers inn, serving the pack horse and mule drovers who took wool and cloth on the journey to and from the markets in Halifax. We're perfectly located for walkers, yet within easy reach of Hebden Bridge town centre which can be reached within a matter of minutes.
We have three tastefully furnished, comfortable rooms which includes a large double/family room, a smaller double and a twin. Each room has those little added extras such as a hospitality tray, a hairdrier, shaving adaptor plug and in the bathrooms shampoo and shower gel. Guests love our extensive breakfast choice, with a good choice of continental style breakfast (which includes freshly made coffee, tea and home made bread and preseves ) and/or a cooked English breakfast using mainly local products. For extra relaxation we have a private guest lounge which has stunning panoramic views. Here you can watch television, with recently installed satellite tv, or perhaps a video or a quiet read. Complimentary sodas and tea/coffee making facilities, as well as a payphone, are available in the lounge.
