



Cross Pipes Cottages are two brand new self-catering homes with adjacent outdoor heated swimming pool. The properties are ideally situated in the moorland village of Goathland, on National Parkland just 7 miles from Whitby. Goathland is a very attractive, unspoilt moorland village offering an excellent array of quality shops and restaurants. The village has it's own railway station which is part of the North York Moors Steam Railway. Goathland is also the location for the long-running TV series Heartbeat and some of the filming of the Harry Potter movies.
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages, and rental includes heating, lighting and logs. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Our Largest Cottage is a Grade 2 Listed building sleeping 6 guests plus additional infants, and comprises 3 bedrooms, one with en-suite and a four-poster bed, 2 reception rooms each with open fireplaces, and a conservatory overlooking the outdoor heated swimming pool. The farmhouse style kitchen benefits from an Aga, plus additional electric cooker. Guests have access to the adjacent heated swimming pool (11m x 3m) and a garage and parking are provided. The cottage is surrounded by large gardens. A DVD, laundry service, linen and towels are all provided, and smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are also included.
Cosy Cottage two is a luxurious 1 bedroom self-contained cottage which can be used for additional accommodation or rented independent of the main cottage. Perfect for couples or two guests, this stone built cottage has been converted from a former outbuilding with magnificent views and an old church opposite. Features and facilities include an open plan living area, a bed recess area, a luxury en-suite shower room, a rear lobby, garage and parking, large gardens, a DVD player, a laundry service, and linen plus towels are provided. Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are also fitted.

From North/East follow the A171 Whitby to Middlesbrough moor road, turn left at the roundabout onto A169 through Sleights, up Blue Bank and onto the moors. Take the right hand turning for Goathland and continue through the village. The cottage is on the right hand side of the road just after the junction for Egton opposite the Church. From the South/West, follow the A169 Whitby road and approximately 1 mile after passing RAF Fylingdales turn left where signposted Goathland. Follow this road and the properties are situated immediately on the left as you enter the village, opposite the Church on the junction for Egton.
