Stoney Brow House is a large holiday property which was once 4 Victorian cottages, dating from the 1880s. Perfect for large groups, Stoney Brow can sleep up to 16 people if you include our sofa bed! Guests can enjoy the large indoor swimming pool, and fine interior decor with touches such as spiral iron staircases and warm stoves. Set in it's own 3 acres of grounds Stoney Brow House has stunning views over the West Yorkshire countryside and makes the perfect retreat to get away from it all!
Close by are ample restaurants and pubs within 1 mile of the house. The property is available to guests throughout the year and offers extensive kitchen and dining facilities including double oven, 8 hob gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Both the lounge and dining areas have solid fuel fires, perfect for those chilly winter evenings.Within the lounge is a bar area.
Rooms Description
The use of six bedrooms allows comfortable sleeping accommodation for 14 people (16 with the sofa bed). A cot is also available. The large number of rooms allows for many combinations of sleeping arrangements and suits all needs. WE NOW HAVE A NEW GAMESROOM WITH COIN OPERATED POOL TABLE, PINBALL AND COMPUTER GAMES- ALSO A DART BOARD

The house offers an indoor 35 foot heated swimming pool complete with a sauna, shower and changing rooms, along with a sun bed. (Swimming towels are provided.) Enabling activities for all ages.

Directions
On leaving the M1 at Junction 42, take M62 to Manchester, exit 26. Take the A58 to Halifax. A58: Through Hipperholm, past the lights at Stump Cross Inn on right. Up the hill, under the iron bridge. Then left onto Charleston Road. Then follow signs to Eureka Centre which will take you past Sainsbury's on Charleston Road. Past Sainsbury's on the right, follow road round to a T-Junction, Turn left and then left again (under bridge). Follow road round Swan Bank Lane (cobbled) and turn left at the bottom. Approximately 300 yards on the left is the Cross Keys Inn, immediately turn onto Whitegate Road. Continue up the hill and bare left up Whitegate and past South View row of terraced houses. Continue up the hill and turn right into Stoney Brow House. Take a wide sweep onto the drive as it is very steep.
